Flint's Remedy Ltd was born when our family first came across a pony named Flint who had sweet itch. After much heartache and research into trying to cure his problem, it became apparent that sweet itch could not, in fact, be cured. One big question that puzzled us was why don’t native ponies, living in their natural wild state, get sweet itch? This question took us on a journey which enabled us to develop a natural, plant based midge repellent which was 100% natural. It involved many people & their horses trialing the product with the help of a local veterinary practice and ultimately assistance from the University of Plymouth’s Research and Innovation Department.
